Intrinsically Safe

Intrinsically safe devices can be used in environments in which ignitable concentrations of flammable gasses, dust, or fibers are present. These are created to Class I, Division I specifications.

Non-Incendive

Non-incendive devices are designed for use in environments where the specified hazard may be present but is not likely to exist under normal operating conditions. These are created to Class I, Division II specifications.

The Honyewell Non-Incendive CK65 is the ideal mobile computer for chemical plants, fireworks distributors, and other hazardous environments. The Zebra MC9300 is also available as non-incendive devices.
